Palm Sunday

Today, one week before Easter, is Palm Sunday. This is the day of the Triumphant Entry, where Jesus rode into the city on a donkey. A conquering ruler or king would have ridden in on a horse, but to show he was a peaceful ruler, he rode on a donkey. The people waved palm leaves and laid them out on the ground for him to ride on.

Good Works/Divine Nature

Well, I have now earned my good works scripture ribbon. Not just earned it, but gotten it. The beautiful yellow ribbon holds the place of some of my favorite scriptures relating to good works and service in my scriptures.

This month we have been working on divine nature as a young women class, and I passed off one experience. It deals with coming closer to a family member, and noticing their divine qualities, and I chose Lorien. This experience involves refraining from judging or criticizing, or speaking harshly, or using unkind words. I continued with this for two weeks, writing notes of encouragement on developing her divine qualities, praying for her, and looking for ways to help out. Then I told her what I had learned. It was a very great experience.

Emma Arendrup Hall Hald

My full name is Emma Arendrup Hall Hald. I'm a twelve year old violinst, dancer, and I play Basketball. Though one of my favorite things to do in my spare time is read, or do scrap booking with my mom. There's nothing like snuggling up in a comfortable chair and read a good book -Sophia Smith. And there's nothing like creating your own page, including a picture, that you might look at when you are older. Kind of like school pictures. I also like to knit, my favorite color to knit with would be off white. This is me!

Sophia Dora Smith

I am a twelve-year-girl called Sophia Dora Smith. Reading and dancing..what fun and amazing things to do. Reading is the absolute best thing I have ever done in my whole life. There's just something so comforting in curling up in a comfy chair or in my bed with an exciting book about fairies or dragons. I love fantasy. Ballet is a wonderful art that involves leaping and spinning around gracefully. This is another one of my hobbies. Singing is a big part of my life as well. It's amazing to me what a big range some people have, reaching from the highest point in a scale, then tipping back low to the bottom. Now, dancing on keys. Why is that the title of this blog? Why, I love to play the piano. I feel like my fingers practically dance over the keys to make beautiful sounds. Magical sounds. Sounds that I can make happen by putting my finger down.
